Playing Stableford at Crystal Bay in two flights and with the cut set at handicap 15 it was the visiting Korean golfer’s who stole the show today. Keii Chi and Mori were first and second in the A Flight while Rab had to settle for third place. Korean Lee Jong won the B Flight with 42 points from a disappointed Lee Butler who came into the clubhouse with 40 points having had a back nine that included six pars and a birdie (gross 37) scoring 26 points! Third place went to John Hughes who has just returned to Thailand and is plotting the defence of his “John Preddy Memorial Trophy” More news on this soon!

Well, after the long drive to Greenwood, getting changed and ready for tee off on the first, the heavens opened and not a ball was hit as it looked like the rain was in for the duration, so it was back to Pattaya for some alternative R & R! (TIT!)

Last month’s golfer of the month Rab McDonald was at it again! Playing with two flights the cut was set at handicap 15. Rab won the A Flight with a level par round, two shots ahead of the Bunker Boy’s regular celebrity golfer Steve Coppell who took the runner up spot one point ahead of third placed Paul Smith. Lee Butler, who fancies the golfer of the month title for the first time in his time at the Bunker, won the B Flight three points ahead of Peter Habgood and Jim Wooler who both had 31 points, Peter winning on a count back. Only three near pin prizes were won and they went to PJ Redmond, Alan Sullivan and Paul Smith.
