Geoff Parker returned from his month long stint in Cambodia to come into the clubhouse all smiles thinking he had done enough to win with 38 points. Sadly for Geoff, Gerry Cooney had the best round of the day and took the honours with 39 points. Geoff’s good pal Heath Norriss visiting from Phuket got in the frame too, taking third place one point behind Geoff.

Near pin winners – Eddie Martin took one and Alan Sullivan won all the other three (playing in the last group!)

Reg Smart

Reg Smart who is in his 70′s has been playing regularly lately and he fancies his chances of winning the golfer of the month title in July. Well, he certainly got off to a good start winning with a sub par round one shot ahead of Korean golfer Hai Sul Chung. A whole host of golfers finished two over par but it Eddie Martin who came out on top, taking third place after a count back.

Near pin winners – Only three greens hit and the prizes went to Reg, Paul Smith and Alan Sullivan.

"John Mac"

Bang Pra

Playing a Medal round at Bang Pra John McDonald shwed a bit of the form we know he is capable of winning on a count back from Gerry Cooney and the golfer of the month William had to settle for third place three shots behind.

Near pin winners – William and “John Mac” won one apiece as did Roger Privett and Geoff Hart.
