Mountain Shadow
Off to the beautiful Mountain Shadow course today for a stableford competition.
Frank Dante pulled off a double for the week winning with the same number of points as he had on Wednesday.
Hai Sul, playing his final round before heading back East, took second place with Gary Leigh coming in third and JJ Harney scraping into fourth place, each place separated by just a single point each time.

Pattana
A group of regulars went on a golf tour to Khao Yai for a few days (see results at the end of this report) so the numbers were down a little meaning there was only one flight.
Frank Dante won the Stableford comp one point ahead of Eddie Martin. Sunny Ruthsip who has been away from Thailand for around 18 months took third place and Geoff Hart came in fourth a couple of shots further back.

Phoenix
Playing a Medal round at Phoenix the cut was set at handicap 15 and it was a couple of long standing regulars who were in the money today.
Tony Robbins had a fantastic round to win the A Flight, coming in with a 10 under par nett 62 to relegate regular “returnee” Gordon Melia in to second place. Gordon had a great round himself to card a score of six under par.
Three people tied in third place JJ, Paul Smith and Frank Dante but Frank took the money winning on a count back.
In the B Flight the scores were a bit more modest and Geoff Parker was a surprise winner shooting a two over par round, one shot ahead of Peter Habgood and PJ. Peter taking runner up spot on a count back.

Paul and Mashi - Winner and runner-up at Khao Yai
Khao Yai Golf Tour
Some of the Bunker Boy’s teamed up with a few Tropical Bert’s golfer’s to travel to Khao Yai for a friendly competition for two nights and three days this week.
Staying at the Sir James Country Club Resort where there are tennis courts, swimming pools, snooker tables, karaoke at night and many other facilities including golf courses of course! The Sir James Country Club has three nine hole courses while the Royal Hills Golf Resort is an 18 hole course both courses pretty hilly and very challenging.
It was Paul Smith who outshone the others. Paul, playing off 4 handicap won the first days comp on the Sir James course with 40 Stableford points which earned him a two shot cut for the second day.
Playing the same course again the next day, Paul made light of his handicap cut by taking second place with 35 points only just being beaten by Rab McDonald by one point.
Still playing off handicap 2, Paul won the third days comp on the Royal Hills course with a brilliant 37 points to become the Khao Yai Champion.
