Cerry Cooney returned to golf after a recent injury (incurred while having a golf lesson! Lesson there somewhere?) and won with a four under par score! Three players finished on nett 73, Fred Temmhik taking the runner up spot, Sunni Khanna third place and the unlucky Jeff Norman was left empty handed.

3rd Sunny Khanna (hcp 12) nett 73
Near pin winners – Bill Rimm, Eddie Martin and ‘dodgy hip’ Gerry took the other two!

Green Valley
Going one better than Monday, Peter Habgood won today’s Medal competition with a fine four under par round! Alan Sullivan thought he’d done enough to win with a three under score but he had to settle for second place, Mike Corner took third place one stroke ahead of Tony Robbins who finished fourth with a level par score on his card.

Near Pin Winners – Only three greens hit so Alan Sullivan, Joe Vanderwegan and Paul Cooper shared the kitty.

Bang Pra
Playing Stableford at Bang Pra there wasn’t many points separating the leaders! Gary Lenske beat his pal Jeff Norman on a count back to claim third place, there was another count back to determine second and third places with Peter Habgood having the better back nine to take second place ahead of Steve Coppell who’s fitting in a few games of golf in the sun before he returns to the business of football management in the English Championship with Bristol City. The winner on the day by one point was Korean golfer Hai Sul Chung.

2nd Peter Habgood (hcp 19) 36 points
3rd Steve Coppell (hcp 12) 36 points
4th Gary Lenske (hcp 15) 35 points

Thanks for making us feel so welcome… Most of us have been coming to pattaya twice a year for the last 5 years… Have been playing in a different comp.. But will be back soon to play with you guys again… Once again thanks for making us welcome.. Regards Gazz
