Another golfer who seems to have benefitted from a break was Rab McDonald. Rab won with a level par round beating Geoff Parker on a count back and Mashi came in third a few shots further back. Rab says he never has his picture in the papers or on the website and the Bunker Boy’s told him “you have to win first!” so here are the winners at Bang Pra!

Near pin winners – Only three greens were hit and Eddie Martin hit two of them with the third going to Geoff Cox.

Treasure Hill

Ron Ryan returned to the golf course after a lengthy absence through business committments made the most of his stint off the booze. Playing a round with John McDonald they were neck and neck all day and it took a count back to separate them, Ron winning with a better back nine and P.J.Redmond was a close third only one point behind.

Results

Near pin winners – Ron Ryan took one of the near pins and his pal visiting from the UK Andy Harrison won two, and the fourth went to Geoff Parker.

Green Valley

Playing Stroke play at Green Valley some great scores were carded. Mashi and Paul Edgar both came into the clubhouse with three under par scores, Mashi winning on a count back. Geoff Parker’s third place was enough to put him in an early lead in the golfer of the month compeition.
