John Preddy - Not Forgotten!

The annual John Preddy Memorial Tournament is upon us once again and this increasingly popular golf tournament will be held at the Greenwood Golf Club this year. It’s hard to believe that it is over two years since John passed away but his memory will live on with his name proudly adorning this magnificent trophy.

The trophy was donated by John’s brother Jim who has been a frequent visitor to Thailand for over twenty years and Jim, along with John’s other brother Donald although not golfer’s themselves, will both be here to lend their support.

Format:

Mens Individual Stableford competition, 2 Divisions

Entry Fee:

Entry Fee 1500 Baht per player.

Payment must be made with entry form at the Bunker Bar

All players welcome. Entry restricted to 80 players.

Entry Fee includes: Green Fee+Caddy Fee, Memorial Tournament Golf Shirt, Free Buffet at the Bunker Bar and a Lucky Draw Ticket. (Book Golf Carts directly with Greenwood G. C.),

Rules & Handicaps:

R&A and USGA rules plus Greenwood Local rules will apply. Handicaps accepted from PSC, IPGC, or any official USGA or R&A handicap. Players who do not have a current PSC or IPGC handicap will be required to show proof of current handicap at Registration.

Prizes:

John Preddy trophy for overall champion (highest Stableford points)

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places in 2 Flights

Prizes for near pins, longest drive, straightest drive, longest putt, plus sponsored technical prizes

Programme:

Registration at Greenwood G. C.. on Monday 24th November from 9.00am

Tee off from 10.00am (tee times allocated with payment of entry fee)

Free Buffet at Bunker Bar from 5pm for all players

Presentation, Prize giving, lucky draw and party at Bodega Bar from 7.30pm

Proceeds will be used to support local charities.
