A few more golfer’s are returning to Thailand for their annual R & R so we had two flights today and the cut was set at handicap 14. The best round of the day was played by Gerry Cooney who murdered the field in the A Flight winning by a full 8 points, Rab McDonald was there again beating Geoff Cox on a count back to take second place. Geoff Parker found himself in the B Flight (Diadora League as we call it) but he duly won it, beating second placed Dave Jones by 6 points and third place went to Mike Corner a point further back.

There’s no stopping Rab these days as, yet again he was in the running, but, today Mashi got the better of him on a count back making Rab settle for second place. Roger Privett took third place a couple of points back and JJ Harney beat Andrew Brannigan on a count back to take fourth place.

On the last game of the month, which is usually when the golfer of the month title is decided, it was no contest today as Rab McDonald already had it in the bag as nobody could catch him (he was that far in front) so Rab wins the title for the second month in a row!
Playing Stableford on the Mountain and Lakes courses, Geoff Hart had a narrow victory winning by just one point ahead of Peter Habgood who beat Eddie Martin on a count back both finishing with 33 points, William Macey came in a point further back to take fourth place.
