William Macey

Mountain Shadow

William Macey took the lead in the race for the golfer of the month title by winning with 38 points.

Reg Smart seems to be getting over his recent illness and came into the clubhouse with 33 points to take second place.

Third place was decided on a count back, Alan Sullivan just beating “Scoby”  (who made a welcome return to the golf course) into third place.

Greenwood Golf Club

Peter Habgood closed the gap on William at the top of the golfer of the month table by winning at Emerald with a superb five under par round.

Dave Keats had a good round too, taking runner up spot with a sub par round and Gary Austing beat Richard Griffin (who had a fine level par round) on a count back to take the third place.

Results

Near pin winners – Only three greens were hit again so the technical prizes went to Peter Habgood, Gerry Cooney and Richard Griffin.

Jim Wooler

Emerald

Richard Griffin had a very good round of golf today but his 35 points playing off scratch wasn’t enough as Mashi took the honours, beating Jim Wooler on a count back, both scoring 38 points.

Richard took some consolation by winning one of the technical prizes instead.

Results

Near pin winners – Richard Griffin won one and two went to Alan Sullivan with nobody hitting the 13th green.
