The Bunker Boy’s joined the Pattaya Sports Club monthly competition at Pleasant Valley for a 2 man scramble and, although none of us won the scramble Rab McDonald won a near pin prize as did JJ Harney and Alan Sullivan. JJ also won a “two’s” prize and Paul Smith won 2 “two’s”

Green Valley

Gary Close visiting from Phuket had a great round today winning the A Flight with the best score of the day. With two flights and the cut set at handicap 16 Gary won the Stableford competition with 41 points a full four points ahead of Mashi in second place and PJ had a level par round to finish third.

There was a count back in the B Flight to determine the winner and Lee Butler just pipped old warhorse Reg Smart to take the honours and Lee Jong came in third three points behind.

Monday 7th September 2009

Emerald

Playing a Medal round and with the cut set at handicap 14 Korean golfer Hai Sul Chung had a level par round which was enough to win the A Flight, Mashi had a steady round to take second place and Rab McDonald took third spot.

In the B Flight Stuart Gooding had today’s best round winning with a six under par nine shots ahead of runner up Eddie Martin who was a shot better off than Geoff Parker in third place.
