Welcome to the online home of the Original Bunker Boys, based out of the Bunker Bar on Soi Chaiyapoon running between Third Road and Soi Buakhow, in the heart of Pattaya. The Bunker Boys are a friendly group of golfers whose main emphasis is on enjoying ourselves! We play three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. William Macey took the lead in the race for the golfer of the month title by winning with 38 points.

Reg Smart seems to be getting over his recent illness and came into the clubhouse with 33 points to take second place.

Third place was decided on a count back, Alan Sullivan just beating “Scoby”  (who made a welcome return to the golf course) into third place.

Koji had another fine day again on his last game with The Bunker Boy’s before returning home.

Playing Stableford and having been cut two shots he still managed to win again, beating William on a count back. Both finished with 35 points and PJ came a close third only one point further behind.

Geoff Parker got back into the winning groove today with the Bunker Boys  playing a Stableford round at Greenwood.

Geoff won the A Flight with 37 points and a count back was used to determine the runner up spot, Paul Smith having a better back nine than John McDonald to take the honours.

Mario Benavidez has been knocking on the door for a couple of weeks now and today he got what he deserved.

Playing a Medal round at Bang Pra and with the cut set at handicap 13 again, Mario won the B Flight with a 2 over par round to finally take first prize.

Playing Stableford at Pattana Golf and Sports Resort, Geoff Hart found some of last month’s form to win the B Flight with a fine round, scoring 36 points.

2 points further back in second place was Hugh O’Donnell on 34 points and in third place rounding off a good week’s golf, was Mario Benavidez on 31 points.

The cut was set at handicap 14 and John Graham took advantage of the two extra shots that he got back at the last handicap revision (don’t know how?).

Bang Pra was busy on this “Labour Day” holiday in Thailand but The Bunker Boy’s didn’t let the slow round affect their game.

There was a small field today because of the holiday and Rab McDonald kept his concentration best to win with a one over par round one shot ahead of William who took the runner-up place by beating Mashi on a count back. more golf in Pattaya...

Mountain Shadow was as difficult as usual and this reflected in the scores.

With only one flight making the trip, Peter Habgood ran out the winner for the second time this week with a lowly 33 points.

There was a tie for second place with Tony Robbins and Takeshi both scoring 31, but Takeshi winning on a count back to take the runner up spot.
